What's included

What happens on every visit

Not a list of add-ons — this is the standard visit. If it's on your property and it's part of the cut, it's included.

  • Mowing at the right height

We cut to the height the grass actually wants for the season, and we change direction between visits so the turf doesn't lean and rut.

  • Edging and string trimming

Hard edges along drives, walks and beds, plus trimming around posts, trees, AC units and anything the deck can't reach.

  • Full blow-down

Clippings blown off every hard surface before we leave — driveway, walks, patio and the street in front of your house.

  • Bed and border tidy

Grass creeping into your beds gets cut back so the line you paid for stays a line.

  • Debris hauled off

Clippings and yard debris leave with us. Nothing bagged and left at the curb for you to deal with.

  • A property left closed up

Gates latched, nothing left in the driveway, and a note if we saw something you should know about.

How we cut

The details that separate a cut lawn from a mowed one

Anyone can run a mower across a yard. What makes a lawn look maintained is a handful of small decisions made the same way every week.

Cutting height matters more than frequency

Scalping a lawn in a Missouri July is how you get a brown yard by August. We raise the deck through the heat so the turf shades its own roots, and drop it back down in the cooler weeks. The one-third rule holds: we take off no more than a third of the blade in a single pass, which is also why letting it go three weeks between cuts costs you more than it saves.

We change direction, every time

Mowing the same line every week trains the grass to lean and packs ruts into the same wheel tracks. Alternating the pattern keeps blades standing upright, which is most of what makes a lawn look striped in the first place.

Sharp blades, and wet grass gets handled differently

A dull blade tears the leaf instead of cutting it, and torn tips brown out within a day or two — that faint tan cast across a lawn is almost always a blade problem, not a watering one. After heavy rain we adjust rather than force it and leave ruts across a soft yard.

Clippings usually stay, sometimes go

Mulched clippings return nitrogen to the soil and are genuinely good for the lawn, so most weeks they stay. When growth outruns the schedule or the grass is too wet to break down cleanly, we collect and haul instead of leaving clumps to smother what's underneath.

Weather moves the schedule, and we tell you

This is Missouri. Rain weeks push visits, heat weeks stretch them. What we won't do is leave you wondering — if your day moves, you hear about it from us first.

How it works

Getting on the schedule

  1. Tell us the address

Call, text or book online. Lot size and access are most of what we need to price it.

  2. Jeremy looks at the property

Usually within a few days. He checks slope, gates, obstacles and anything that changes how long a visit takes.

  3. You get a per-visit price

In writing, with the cadence spelled out. No hidden trip charges and no surprise add-ons on the invoice.

  4. We start on a set day

You get a regular day in the rotation, and you'll know when it moves.
